(Use 3) GB 2760-96 specifies it as a processing aid for the food industry. Foaming agent; emulsifier; anionic surfactant. Used in cakes, beverages, protein, fresh fruit, fruit juice drinks, edible oils, etc.

(Use 4) Used as an emulsifier in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and synthetic resins. Also used as a foaming agent in toothpaste and fire extinguishers. Used as a detergent for fine silk and wool fabrics. Used as a flotation agent in metal ore beneficiation.
