Property and application
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Needle (SLS) is white to almost white needle with a slight special smell. Soluble in water. The aqueous solution is colorless, transparent to translucent.
This product has moisture absorption and agglomeration, but the strength of agglomeration is not high.
This product is a disulfonic anionic surfactant with large molecular weight and lower hydrophilicity compared with K12, so it is easier to prepare microemulsion.
In textile and leather industries, it is used as emulsifier, detergent, antistatic agent, wetting agent, foaming agent, solubilizer, etc.
When used in disinfectants, it can be used as foaming agent, retention aid, etc.
In addition, this product can also be used as foaming agent, detergent, emulsifier, dispersant and lubricant. It can be used in personal care products, household detergents, industrial cleaning agents, pharmaceuticals, lotion polymerization, textiles, leather and other industries.
