SLS Surfactant

Our alkyl sulfate powder, commonly called SLS surfactant by wholesale industrial buyers, is an anionic surfactant manufactured at our plant. This powder is off-white with a faint fatty-alcohol odor. It dissolves readily in ambient-temperature water to produce a clear aqueous solution. The mixture of C12 to C16 alkyl chains delivers balanced foaming and detergency, which makes this SLS surfactant suitable for many industrial water-based formulations.

This product functions as detergent, foaming agent and emulsifier across multiple sectors. In textile finishing, it cleans wool and serves as a textile auxiliary. It builds stable foam for fire suppression systems and can be used in emulsion polymerization. Under GB 2760-96, it can act as food processing aid for cakes, fruit drinks and edible oil processing. Formulators also use it in basic cosmetic and resin emulsification, and mining operations deploy it as flotation reagent for metal ore separation. Its core working principle is lowering water surface tension to enable cleaning, emulsification and foam generation.

For bulk importers and formulators, consistent lot performance is critical. Our production uses closed reaction vessels with continuous temperature and pH monitoring. We limit free fatty alcohol content to reduce odor and discoloration risks in your finished goods. The powder is milled to a controlled particle size for faster dissolution and fewer undissolved residues, which helps avoid blockages in continuous dosing systems. Every batch is sampled and tested in our in-house lab before release.
